Software as a Service (SaaS) allows users to connect to and use cloud-based applications over the Internet. Common examples include email, calendars and IT tools (such as Microsoft Office 365).
SaaS offers a complete software solution that is hosted by a cloud service provider on a pay-as-you-go model.
